Breaking free with Car Title Loans in San Jose
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008My father told me marriage isn’t a bed of roses, and he was right. After just two years, I told my wife I was moving out. But when I started looking at apartments (I found one in Santa Clara, not far from my job at the Mineta San Jose Airport), I realized I had a security deposit problem.
The landlord requires a security deposit of two month’s rent. I was pretty sure I could afford the $850 each month, but to come up with another $1700 at the lease signing was seemingly impossible. In those two years, we both didn’t handle our money well. Our credit cards were maxed and we couldn’t make the monthly payments. Twice we got behind in the rent. I had bad credit and that doesn’t help anything.
So I went on the Internet. I searched “money from nothing,” “fast cash” and “get title loan” and found Car Title Loans in San Jose. My Saturn is paid for, so it was good for more than what I needed. I filled out an online application so I could avoid those car title places on el Camino Real. You might find this funny, but I wouldn’t want to be seen in a place like that. I had my money in a day and signed the lease that afternoon.
