I just go on the internet to procrastinate. And that’s why I’m writing this. I had a lot of free time lately. I just keep thinking about it over and over again. How in the hell did I not see it coming. I ran my own business for the past sixteen years and I thought I knew what I was doing. I mean sixteen years is a long time. I don’t want to go back out and find a job. It’s tough to do after all that control.

We did custom made furniture. We somewhat mass produced it but it was still custom made. The real problem came when we got a lawsuit on our hands. They claimed our furniture was defective. We claimed that little kids shouldn’t be jumping on it. It isn’t meant to handle repeated impact. People never want to handle responsibility for their mistakes.

The case went to court since I refused to settle. I couldn’t settle it wasn’t right. The jury awarded them enough to completely destroy me. I haven’t had the money for anything since then. I took out a car title loan in San Jose, California. It was an easy way to get money fast and all I had to do was fill out an application.

I’m just so disheartened now that I don’t know what to do.
