Everyone was ready to eat that day. Everyone except Ellis. Ellis was sitting in the back of the car whining the whole ride on the way to Original Joe’s in San Jose. It was going to be a night to remember. Unfortunately it was a night to remember in all the wrong ways. Ellis wasn’t doing so great. It’s not hard to tell when a six year old isn’t doing so great. You can tell when he starts crying “mommy, help me” We got to Original Joe’s and I walked out the door with him.

I hope my husband wasn’t too mad that I left him on his own. I took Ellis to the Good Samaritan Hospital. I told my husband I would be back but when we got to the hospital it was obvious I wouldn’t be. I gave my husband a call because Ellis needed to get his appendix removed right away.

But then the real bad part came. When I got a hold of the insurance company, they told me it wouldn’t be covered by my insurance. They said in some way it wasn’t a surgery requiring immediate medical attention. As if?!! And there was nothing I could do. I found the money in the end. I found it in car title loans in San Jose, California online. It was fast money to get a quick easy loan.

Now Ellis is doing much better. I did help him, although I wish I could have done even more.
